Program Description:

UK Intro to Phys

Study animal behavior and veterinary physiotherapy at Harper Adams University in Newport, south east Wales, United Kingdom. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities, excursions, and local travel as a part of their time at Harper Adams. 

The course begins with students attending a one week module each on Animal Behavior and Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Harper Adams University farms and labs. Students will be expected to attend lectures, lab demonstrations, and participate in field activities. The course is an overview of the field strategies and veterinary techniques that wildlife veterinarians and biologists use in management and conservation of the wildlife. The course will give students a better understanding of how wildlife veterinarians assist game farmers in breeding and conservation of endangered animals.
