Program Description:
Germany Acct and Finance
As an economic powerhouse in the European Union and the site of numerous multinational operations, Germany is an ideal location for students interested in studying finance and accounting on a global scale. Based in Reutlingen, students on this program experience the local charm of a small German city by tasting local cuisine, hiking the nearby by mountain, and spending a relaxing afternoon in the many city parks.

Through this program, students gain a broad understanding of how business is done from both a financial and accounting perspective. Topics such as the time value of money, risk and return measurement, and corporate income tax are covered. Guest lectures by the world-renowned faculty of the ESB Business School at Reutlingen University bring the international context to these same topics. Students again experience these topics in "real life" by visiting global corporations such as BMW, Huge Boss, and Stoll.
