Poland: Clinical Shadowing

The Shadowing program will focus on providing AAMC-compliant physician shadowing in an international setting. Students will be afforded the opportunity to experience global healthcare with a group of other pre-health students, shadowing doctors in a different specialty each week. The shadowing program will begin immediately at the conclusion of the Biotechnology Poland Study Abroad Program, which is an additional program that will provide a rich cultural experience within Poland (Poznan, Krakow, Warsaw). The shadowing program will be hosted in Torun, which dates to medieval times, is the hometown of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus, and is a picturesque historic European city set on the Vistula river.

Students will receive ALS 490 Internship credit for the experience.
