Program Description:

Chile - Sustainable Design
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This interdisciplinary program in Chile provides a study abroad opportunity in a country that offers diverse, cutting-edge design and art developments in a secure environment as one of South America's most stable and prosperous nations. Additionally, to gain a broader cultural understanding of the region, students will go on an excursion to Valparaiso on the Chilean coast.

ACADEMICS

 

Students will take courses in English with instructors from our partner university in Santiago, Universidad Diego Portales (UDP), a prestigious and highly ranked private university in Chile. The courses offered combine new technologies with sustainable approaches, presenting diverse and relevant design opportunities utilizing entrepreneurial skills and community participation. Students may choose from two course track options, each totaling 6 credit hours. If a student wishes to fulfill a studio abroad, they will enroll in D 292 sections 604 and 605.
