Program Description:
France: PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This Maymester program is designed for finance concentration and accounting major students in the Poole College of Management. Located in the small town of Reims, France, just 80 miles from Paris, students are able to experience both the quaint local culture and easy access to the metropolis of Paris and beyond. In addition to its well-known cuisine, Reims has many beautiful sites including the Reims Cathedral, the Palace of Tau, and many champagne houses. It is a major industrial crossroad in France in the areas of pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biomedical technology, food industry, and high-end champagne production. The combination of culture and industry make it an excellent location to learn how business is done in France.

ACADEMICS
Spend three weeks in May learning how business differs within the European context while gaining a deeper knowledge of international finance. International financial management explores topics ranging from exchange markets, portfolio management abroad, and international cash management. These topics are demonstrated in "real life" as students visit corporations and learn from business men and women through interactive guest lectures.
