About ISEP
The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) was founded in 1979 and since then has helped over 54,000 students study abroad. Through its numerous partnerships with universities around the world, ISEP is able to offer students the opportunity to direct enroll at universities that match their interests and goals, as well as provide opportunities for students to participate in high impact experiences like service-learning and internships. NC State students can choose from over 100 universities in more than 30 different countries to study at.

NC State students are only eligible to participate in the ISEP Direct programs. Through this model:
  • Students will pay tuition, room, and board directly to ISEP.
  • The cost for ISEP Direct programs is available on the ISEP program page for each university. You can utilize the "Find a Program" link to explore the programs available.
  • Students have a good chance of being placed at their first choice with most programs as long as they meet the requirements.
  • Good option for out-of-state students.
